Acceptable use policy
Version 1. Last updated 28 September 2026.
The short version
- Use RecruitAffiliates.ai for one thing: inviting creators and websites into your affiliate or partner program.
- Only email people you're allowed to email, where they live. That's your call and your risk.
- Be honest about who you are and what you're offering.
- When someone says stop, stop. For good, on every channel.
- Don't copy our data out to sell it or build your own list.
- Break these rules and we can pause your sending or close your account.
This policy is part of our terms of service. "You" means the business with the account, and everyone on its team. A creator is anyone the service helps you find or email: a YouTuber, blogger, podcaster, newsletter writer or website owner.
1. What the service is for
- Finding creators and websites who might promote your product, and inviting them into your affiliate or partner program.
- Keeping track of those conversations and the terms you agree.
Nothing else. So don't use it to sell your product to creators, send newsletters, hire staff or raise money. Not even if the creator would be glad to hear from you.
2. Who you can contact
- Only people you're allowed to email. Before every send, you need a lawful reason to email that person, under the law where they are. The rules differ by country. Our terms, section 11, gives examples. It's not the full list.
- Relevant people only. Contact a creator about an offer that fits what they already publish. No mass mailing to everyone a search returns.
- Nobody who said no. Never email someone who unsubscribed, asked to be removed, or is on our do-not-contact list. Don't get around that by copying the address to another tool.
- No children. Never contact anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18. If a channel looks like a child runs it, leave it alone.
- No sensitive targeting. Don't pick or skip creators because of their health, religion, politics, ethnicity, sexuality or union membership. Don't write any of that into notes either.
- No harassment. One polite sequence, then stop. No threats, no pressure, no messages after someone has declined.
3. What you send
Creators get a lot of pitches. Pitches that break these rules are why mail providers block whole domains. Yours included.
- Tell the truth. Say who you are, what your product is, and what you're offering. Don't invent earnings, results or deadlines.
- Honest subject lines. The subject must match what's inside. No fake "Re:" or "Fwd:" on a first email.
- No faking it. Don't pretend to be someone else, another company, or someone the creator already knows. Don't claim you've spoken before if you haven't.
- Keep our notice lines. Every first email carries a short notice we add: who's writing, where their details came from, and how to stop all email. Don't remove, hide or change it.
- Keep the way out. Every email carries a working unsubscribe line. Don't remove it, break it, or make it hard to use.
- Your real identity. Send from a mailbox you own or are allowed to use, on a domain you control. Add your business's postal address where the law asks for it, for example in the US and Canada.
4. How much you send
If in doubt, send fewer.
- Stay inside the limits. Each inbox has a daily cap, and a new inbox starts lower. Don't get around them with extra inboxes, extra accounts or another tool.
- No spam volumes. If your emails bounce or draw complaints, slow down and fix your list. Don't keep sending.
- One free trial. One trial per business and per brand website. No new accounts to reset a limit or a trial.
5. What you do with the data
- Your own recruiting only. Use results and email addresses to recruit affiliates for your own business, or for the brands your account is set up for.
- No reselling or sharing. Don't sell, rent, publish or give away results, addresses or exports. Don't share them outside your organization.
- No copying our index. Don't scrape the service, pull results in bulk, or use them to build a database, a list or a product of your own. That includes feeding them into another outreach or data tool.
- Exports follow the same rules. Paid plans can export saved affiliates. Everything in this policy still applies to what you export.
- Answer people who ask. If a creator asks what you hold about them, or asks you to delete it, deal with it. You're the one they emailed.
6. What you promote
You can't use the service to recruit affiliates for anything unlawful where you or the creator are. Nor for these, even where they're legal:
- gambling, betting or lotteries
- adult content or services
- weapons, drugs, tobacco, vapes or cannabis products
- payday loans, debt schemes, crypto trading or investment schemes, or anything promising income
- medicines, supplements or health claims that need a licence or approval you don't have
- multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes or anything that pays mainly for recruiting other people
- bought reviews, or fake followers and engagement
Not sure? Email us before you start and we'll tell you.
7. Your affiliates' posts
- They must say they're paid. Tell every affiliate you recruit that they have to disclose the relationship clearly wherever they post your link. For example, UK advertising rules and the US Federal Trade Commission both require it.
- No misleading claims. Don't ask an affiliate to say anything about your product that isn't true, or to post a review that hides that they're paid.
8. The service itself
- Don't share a login. Invite teammates instead, up to your plan's seats.
- Don't probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach another customer's data.
- Don't reverse engineer it, or get around a limit, a pause, a block or the suppression list.
- Found a security hole? Tell us at security@recruitaffiliates.ai and don't use it.
9. What we do when a rule is broken
We watch bounce and complaint rates, and we read every report a creator sends us. If something looks wrong, we can do any of these, straight away and without notice where people are at risk:
- slow down, cap or hold any email before it sends
- pause a campaign, an inbox or all sending on your account
- block an address or a domain from being emailed
- remove results or data from your account
- suspend or close your account under the terms
We tell you what we did and what to change. The only exception is when the law or someone's safety stops us. We always keep the do-not-contact record, so a creator who said no stays safe.
10. Report a problem
Got an email through RecruitAffiliates.ai you didn't want? Use the unsubscribe link in it. That stops everyone using the service from emailing you. To report abuse, email support@recruitaffiliates.ai with the email, or forward it. We read every report.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to keep up with the law or with new ways the service gets misused. We post the change here with a new date. For a material change, we email customers first, as the terms say.
