Affiliate program terms
Version 1. Last updated 9 October 2026.
In plain English
You send us a SaaS founder. Every time they pay us, you get 40% of it, for as long as their account stays open. We hold each commission for 30 days so any refund has time to land, then pay you by PayPal or Wise, with nothing taken out. If we ever change the rate, the new rate applies only to people you refer after the change. Everyone you already referred stays at the rate you signed up for. Four things end the partnership, in clause 9. Wherever you post your link, say you may earn from it.
1. Who we are, and who you are
This program is run by James Barkway, trading as RecruitAffiliates.ai, a sole trader established in England and Wales. Office 4382, 182-184 High Street North, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom. Email support@recruitaffiliates.ai.
"We" and "us" mean the operator. "You" and "affiliate" mean the person or company approved into this program. "A referred customer" means someone credited to you under clause 4. "A payment" means money a referred customer actually pays us for a RecruitAffiliates.ai subscription.
The program runs on AffiliateRail, affiliate software the same operator runs. Your portal, your link and your payouts live there, and signing in to it is covered by AffiliateRail's own terms and privacy policy. These terms decide what you earn.
2. Joining, and being approved
You apply through the join page. We read every application and decide who's approved. We can refuse anyone without giving a reason. A refusal isn't a judgement of your work.
You're an independent contractor. Nothing here makes you our employee, agent or legal partner, and you can't make promises or sign anything for us.
You need one account. Running two to route referrals between them ends the partnership under clause 9.
3. What you earn
40% of every payment a customer you referred makes to us, for as long as their account is open. That includes their first payment and every renewal, monthly or yearly, with no end date and no step down.
A payment means a paid invoice. A free trial isn't one, because nothing was charged. Nor is an account we gave away free, or a charge that was later refunded.
Commission is worked out on what the customer actually paid, after any discount and after any sales tax or VAT. We don't pay commission on tax, because the tax was never our money.
Commission is in US dollars, because our prices are.
We don't pay commission on an Enterprise deal priced by agreement, unless we tell you in writing before the customer signs.
4. How you get credited
Attribution is how we decide which affiliate gets paid for a customer. Here's how ours works.
Your link sets a cookie window, which is how long after a click that person still counts as yours. Ours is 60 days. The cookie is only set if the visitor accepts cookies on our site, because the law treats it as advertising measurement. A visitor who says no can't be credited to anyone.
The credit carries through the account they open. Someone who clicks in March and pays in May is still yours, as long as they signed up inside the 60 days.
Where more than one affiliate sent the same person, the first qualifying click inside the window gets the credit. Once a customer is credited to you, they stay yours.
We can only credit a click we can see. If someone clears their browser and arrives another way, there's nothing left to match, and we won't rebuild it from memory or a conversation.
Your portal shows every click, referral and customer with its status. If you think something's been credited wrongly, write to support@recruitaffiliates.ai and we'll look at the record with you.
5. The hold, refunds and clawbacks
A hold period is how long we sit on a commission before it can be paid. Ours is 30 days from the payment that earned it, because our refund guarantee is 30 days.
If the payment is refunded, the commission on it is cancelled. A chargeback is a customer asking their bank to reverse a payment, and it's treated the same as a refund.
If we've already paid you when the money goes back, that's a clawback: an amount taken back after it was paid. We take it off your next payout. We'll never ask you to send money back.
6. How and when we pay you
We pay to your own PayPal or Wise account, whichever you give us, in US dollars.
We pay 15 days after the end of the month in which a commission cleared its hold. So a commission earned on 3 April clears on 3 May and is paid on 15 June, with everything else that cleared in May.
The minimum payout is $20. A smaller balance carries over until it passes $20.
We take 0% of your commission. PayPal and Wise charge their own fees and set their own exchange rates.
You keep your payout details current. We aren't responsible for money that reaches the wrong place because the details you gave were wrong. If a payout fails, your portal shows the reason, and we send it again once you've fixed it.
Before your first payout we may ask for your name, address and country for our records. We don't run identity or credit checks on you.
7. Tax
What you earn is your income and you declare it where you live. We don't deduct tax and we don't file anything for you. We aren't registered for UK VAT, so we add no VAT and issue no VAT invoice. We aren't tax advisers and nothing here is tax advice.
8. How you may promote us
Anywhere your audience is: your site, newsletter, videos, posts, courses, client work or a talk. You may use our name, our mark and the material in your portal, as we supply them.
Write what you actually think, including the parts you don't like. An honest review with your link under it is worth more to both of us than a sales pitch.
9. What ends the partnership
Four rules. Each exists because there's a way to be paid for a customer who was coming anyway.
- No bidding on our name. Brand bidding is running paid search ads on a company's own name, to catch people already looking for it. Don't buy ads on "RecruitAffiliates.ai", "recruitaffiliates.ai", misspellings, or our name with words like discount, coupon, promo or review. Don't point an ad straight at our site. Commissions from that traffic are reversed.
- Coupon and deal sites need written approval first. An approved one is credited through the code we give it, never through a last-second click.
- No paid clicks. Don't offer money, rewards, points or prize draws for a click, a trial or a purchase.
- No referring yourself. You can't earn commission on your own account, your company's, or one you control.
Four more, the same principle applied elsewhere:
- No unsolicited email or messages, and no bought lists. If you email your link, the people receiving it asked to hear from you.
- No domain, handle, app or page that a reasonable person would read as ours.
- No promising anyone what they'll earn or find with RecruitAffiliates.ai. Quote our published prices and commission rate. Nothing invented.
- Nothing unlawful, misleading, hateful or adult.
Breaking any of the eight ends this agreement at once, and the commissions concerned are reversed.
10. Saying that it's an affiliate link
Wherever you post your link, say you may earn a commission from it. Put it near the link and before someone clicks, in words a reader will understand.
In the US, the Federal Trade Commission requires a clear disclosure. In the UK, the Advertising Standards Authority and the CMA expect the same. Other countries and every platform have their own rules. Follow whichever is strictest.
If we find a placement with no disclosure, we'll ask you to fix it. If it stays, the partnership ends under clause 15.
11. Our name and our material
We own the RecruitAffiliates.ai name, mark, site and the material in your portal. While this agreement runs, you may use them as we give them to you, to promote us. Don't redraw the mark, and don't register our name as a domain, handle or trade mark. That permission ends with this agreement.
What you write about us stays yours. We may quote it, with a link back, unless you tell us not to.
12. What you can see about our customers
Your portal shows your own referrals, and sometimes names the business that became a customer. Keep it to yourself. Don't contact a referred customer about us, publish what your portal shows, or use it for anything but checking your commissions.
13. What we aren't promising
No exclusivity, no territory, no minimum traffic and no guaranteed earnings. Nothing here says you'll earn anything at all.
We can change RecruitAffiliates.ai, its plans and its prices. That changes what a payment is worth, and so what your 40% of it is worth.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we aren't liable to you for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, and our total liability to you at any time is limited to the commission we owe you at that moment.
14. Changing these terms
Every version of this document has a number and a date. This is version 1, 9 October 2026.
When we change it, the number changes, and your portal asks you to accept the new version before you carry on. Your acceptance is stamped with the version and the time.
A rate change only applies to new referrals. If we change the commission rate, the new rate applies to customers you refer after the change takes effect. Every customer credited to you before then stays at the rate in force when they were credited, for as long as their account is open. We give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any rate change.
15. Ending it
Either of us can end this at any time by telling the other. You can close your account from your portal.
If you end it, or we end it without you breaking these terms, commissions on payments made before that date are paid on the normal schedule in clause 6. After that date, no new commission is earned.
If you break clause 9 or clause 10, it ends at once and the commissions concerned are reversed. We'll tell you which ones and why.
If your account has had no click, no referral and no balance for 12 months, we may close it. We email you first, and anything you're owed is paid.
If we close the whole program, we give 30 days' notice and pay every commission earned up to the end of that notice.
16. Law, and the rest
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts decide any dispute about them. If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. This document, with our terms of service and privacy policy, is the whole agreement about the program.
Questions go to support@recruitaffiliates.ai, which reaches a person.
