Who promotes health and supplement brands: 2026 affiliate data

Who promotes health and supplement brands? In a first search, most people shown were found through a review or roundup page (55%). Next came a blog-style page (24%) and a podcast (20%). This page gives the counts for six brands, how many have an email found, and what to do first.

An affiliate promotes your product and earns a cut of each sale they send. A roundup is a page that ranks several brands, such as "best magnesium supplements". The median is the middle brand when you line the six up from smallest to largest. "Email found" means an address was on record for that person. We did not check it.

What did the scan find for health and supplement brands?

On 22 October 2026 we ran one first search on each of six public Shopify health and supplement brands. Three were UK and three were US. The topics we typed ranged from vitamins to menopause support and gut health.

Type of pageMedian per brandRangeShare of people shown
Review or roundup page61.540 to 10455%
Blog-style page12.57 to 6924%
Podcast28.51 to 4020%
TikTok, Instagram or newsletter0.50 to 10%
All people shown12655 to 188100%
With an email found38.515 to 4930% of all shown

Median and range are per brand. With six brands, the median is the average of the middle two, so it can end in .5. The share column adds each type's people across all six brands. So the shares add up to about 100% after rounding, but the medians do not. A check of 30 random rows from all five categories found 9 that were not promoters (how we counted).

We ran this · 22 October 2026

One US health and supplement brand showed 188 people, the most of the 30 brands.

  • 79 had a review or roundup page, 69 a blog-style page and 39 were podcasts.
  • 45 had an email found.

How we counted: We added the brand to RecruitAffiliates.ai with 2 rivals and 3 topics typed by hand. Then we ran the product's normal first search. The counts are the people it showed after its own filter. The scan stopped at emails found and ran no email checks. Sample: One of six public Shopify health and supplement brands, estimated sales of $100k to $250k a month (the list's own estimate). Searched once on 22 October 2026.

Does it differ in the UK and the US?

Market (3 brands each)Sales a monthPeople shown, medianRangeEmail found, median
UK$25k to $100k11455 to 16432
US$100k to $250k13856 to 18845

The UK median was 114 and the US median was 138. All brands were searched in the same six countries with the same default offer. Size and country move together here, because the UK brands are smaller than the US brands. So don't read the gap as a market effect. The same tables for fashion, fitness, home and garden and beauty and skincare brands are on their own pages. All five side by side are in how we scanned 30 Shopify brands.

What does this mean for a health and supplement brand?

  • This category showed the biggest crowd. 126 is a median, and the range was wide. In our hand check, 1 of 5 supplement rows and 3 in 10 rows overall were not promoters, so treat 126 as a ceiling. Your count depends on your products, your topics and your rivals, so run your own search.
  • Email was found for about 3 in 10 (30%). That is 211 of 715 people shown. Plan a contact form or a direct message for the rest.
  • Podcasts are worth a list. The median was 28.5 podcasts a brand, more than any other category. Three of the six brands showed 39 or 40. The other three showed 18 or fewer. The podcast-heavy brands typed topics such as menopause and gut health. The low ones typed vitamins or plant protein.
  • Blogs are a second pool. Blog-style pages were 24% of people shown. Two brands showed 64 and 69. The other four showed 15 or fewer.
  • Say what creators may claim. This is advice, not scan data. Give every new affiliate a short list of what they can and cannot say before they post. For example, a creator should never say a supplement treats or cures a condition. The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) health products guidance explains what claims need proof.

What should you do next?

  1. List the podcasts that already cover your main topic. Our guide on finding podcast and review site affiliates shows how.
  2. Offer hosts a discount code and a commission. Ask what they would like.
  3. List the roundup pages that name your rivals. They were 55% of people shown.
  4. List the blog posts that name your rivals. Blogs were 24%.

Then set your offer. A program's base commission is the lowest rate its page states. Public health and supplement programs state a median base commission of 10%. The middle half state 10% to 15%. That is from the 22 public program pages that state a base rate, not the six brands we scanned. Read what commission Shopify brands pay for the full table. How did we count?

We added each brand to RecruitAffiliates.ai with two rivals and three topics typed by hand. Then we ran the normal first search. The first search reads web pages, podcasts, TikTok and Instagram. The counts are the people it showed after its own filter, and each brand was searched once. An AI model read the title and address of 30 random rows from all five categories, and we opened no pages. 19 were a clear fit and 2 a loose fit. Nine were not promoters (30%, likely range 17% to 48%). A review or roundup label comes from the page, not the publisher, so some are single-post bloggers. Six brands a category is a small, hand-picked sample, so read medians as rough. The full method and limits are in how we scanned 30 Shopify brands. The 2026 data report has the press summary.

Questions people ask

How many people could promote my health and supplement brand?

In our sample, a first search showed a median of 126 people per brand. The range was 55 to 188. A setup with more rivals and topics shows more. In a follow-up on a paid plan with five rivals and six topics, 3 of the 30 public brands showed a median of 693 people each, and 71% of them came from YouTube. Run it on your own store to see your number.

Where do the email addresses come from?

211 of the 715 people shown had an email found. RecruitAffiliates.ai records the page each address came from. The scan did not check them. RecruitAffiliates.ai checks an address when you look it up. A result only counts if it comes back as a verified email (what each result means).

Are podcasts worth my time for a health and supplement brand?

In our sample, podcasts were 20% of people shown, the highest share of any category (fitness was next at 17%). Three of six brands showed 39 or 40 podcasts, so it depends on your topic.

Why is the range so wide?

Brands showed between 55 and 188 people. The three podcast-heavy brands typed topics such as menopause and gut health. The three low ones typed vitamins or plant protein. Topics may be part of the reason, but with six brands we can't tell topic from brand size or fame. Test your own.

Can I use these numbers?

Yes. Please link to this page and name RecruitAffiliates.ai as the source. Give the date, 22 October 2026. The per-brand counts are open, with no brand names: download the data file (CSV).
